The Government of the Republic of Uganda has received financing from the OPEC Fund for International Development (OPEC Fund), the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) (hereinafter called “the Funds”) towards the cost of The Uganda Heart Institute Infrastructure Development Project [Construction and Equipping Uganda Heart Institute Project] and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for civil works for the above project. The scope of the works under the contract includes construction of reinforced concrete framed structures, with a total floor area of approximately 39,510m2. The works include Building works, Electrical and Mechanical Installations, ICT Installations, Water Reticulation, Sewerage System, Storm Water Drainage and External Works.
