Ms. Atugonza Rita shares a heartfelt story about her daughter Tranny’s journey to health at the Uganda Heart Institute. Tranny was born healthy, but soon faced health problems. Doctors found an open vein in her heart. At first, the family was scared and had to find money for surgery. But they found hope at UHI. Thanks to the skilled and caring team, Tranny had successful surgery and is much better now. She’s healthy, happy, and full of life. Tranny’s story shows how important it is for children to have thorough health check-ups. Ms. Atugonza expresses deep gratitude to the UHI Staff and urges fellow parents to be vigilant about their children’s health and seek medical care promptly to prevent costly complications.
